Memories; Real or Imagined? "Some non-paranormal but cool!"
When I was 17 and a Senior in high school, my friend to whom trouble was his mantra, tried to steal a lady's purse while we were at the bowling alley. She was a big and robust woman and she fought back and he was apprehended as the Police took him the Butler County Juvenile Center. His Aunt, his legal Guardian, took me along to get him out later that night. At 11:00 PM there, the biggest and toughest PO ever, had my friend in a small room and we could watch through a two way mirror. For the next 90 minutes, this hard nosed and tough PO, had a skirt on and a Whig and was taunting my friend as he walked around the small room saying; "Go ahead and take my purse, big guy!" This lesson went on and on and was really a situation-appropriated remedy for his mistake. Finally, my friend came to tears and begged the PO to STOP because he had learned his lesson and would never-ever do such a thing ever again and the PO made him PROMISE to apologize to the lady face to face the next day which he did. Finally, he was released at about 3:00 AM and his Aunt was giving him hell, which he deserved and he admitted that he had made a serious mistake and would not do such a thing ever again. This was a night to remember as it was quite an adventure. I hope you enjoyed this TRUE story! To be continued............ Capt. Rick Rotundo
